Dimitri Charalambopoulos on Assault Claims: It’s Been a “Traumatizing Nightmare”

Oh boy. Camille Grammer’s allegedly abusive ex, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, just can’t seem to stop talking about how “wronged” he’s been. After Camille’s abuse claims against Dimitri were dismissed following a lack of evidence, Dimitri filed a lawsuit against Camille at the beginning of June, claiming that she had lied in her allegations against him. “This has been a traumatizing nightmare,” Dimitri said to RadarOnline.com. “I hired an attorney to file a lawsuit because I felt that was the best way to clear my name and move on with my life.”

Camille claimed that Dimitri had beaten her in a Houston hotel after Camille had questioned Dimitri about texts he received from another woman. During the original lawsuit, Camille had claimed that she “was wakened at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the morning of October 16, 2013, by Mr. Charalambopoulos’s mobile phone, which was vibrating with incoming text messages and phone calls from another woman. Inquiry escalated to argument…” Dimitri has now revealed the text messages in question, presumably to show that he isn’t a cheater OR a beater.

According to Dimitri’s lawyer, the woman in question had actually helped Camille be admitted into M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. “Grammer was fully aware that Dimitri was corresponding with this woman, and in fact, requested Dimitri to contact her to assist in getting the cancer treatment Ms. Grammer desired,” his camp claimed.

“Dimitri’s reputation has been ruined by Camille Grammer’s spreading of these false and defamatory statements about an assault and a later stalking incident which never occurred,” Dimitri’s attorney has stated. “Dimitri is ready for the public to hear his side of the story.”
