The talented Kandi Burruss is currently in New York City appearing in Newsical the Musical for a limited time, and she took advantage of her time on the east coast to stop by BET’s 106 & Park. First she dished about her experience in the Big Apple so far, noting that she “could get a second home here.”
Kandi also mentioned that Newsical is “a lot of work,” but she’s really enjoying doing what she loves, and doesn’t even see it as a job. Explaining why she’s always working and creating new things — like her most recent single — Kandi said, “I just try to keep things going because if you ever feel like you have time to rest then people are on to the next thing and they’re not thinking about you anymore. So you gotta keep things going, you can’t ever take a break!”
However, the highlight of Kandi’s time on 106 came when host Keshia Chante asked her about this Sunday’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. As we have mentioned, the next installment of the Bravo hit features an epic fight that sees the silk pajama-clad cast screaming at one another and ever throwing a few punches.
When Keshia astutely observed that Kandi looked as though she was about to put her paws on someone, the reality star was tight-lipped but generally agreed. “I can’t tell you that because you gotta keep watching, but I definitely wanted to put my paws on somebody, yeah,” Kandi dished. Yikes, we’ll be tuning in this week for sure!
Check out Kandi in the clip below (starting at around the 24 minute mark) and be sure to watch through to the end to hear her thoughts on the most recent episode of Being Mary Jane.
