Dancing With the Stars’ Dmitry Chaplin to Guest Star on Baby Daddy (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Break out your schedule and mark down these Dmitry Chaplin viewing dates!

The DWTS pro tweeted on April 19, "Set your calendars to May 27th to see my choreo on @mtvfakingit episode 106!!! ‘@mrcartaire: It's amazing!’”

He also added an update on his Baby Daddy guest role: “Also catch me acting on @abcfBabyDaddy May 14!!!”

And here’s one more update, which includes two other DWTS pros: “Also if you are in NJ please come see @chelsiehightowr me and @Gleb_Savchenko perform at the Paper Mill Playhouse May 10 & 11! #BWAT."

Adjust your life accordingly!

Original story (Dec. 2013):

Do you suffer from Dmitry Chaplin withdrawal? Same here! We miss him every season he's not competing on Dancing With the Stars, but at least we can still see him on TV.

The So You Think You Can Dance performer/choreographer hasn't competed on DWTS since Season 12, but we loved seeing him play a dancer on Bones earlier this year. Apparently he caught the acting bug, since talent agent Brooklyn Lavin tweeted last night, "Congrats to @dmitry_ch for booking a Large Guest Star on ABC Family's Baby Daddy!"

Dmitry shared the note with his thanks, adding, "Looking fwd to it!" So are we! Right now it's not clear what role he'll be playing or when it will air, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Baby Daddy already features another DWTS alum in Chelsea Kane, who took third with Mark Ballas on Season 12. She plays Riley, the close friend/new girlfriend of main character Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau). The show, which is currently in its second season, airs Wednesdays from 8:30 to 9 p.m. on ABC Family.

Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars shot a guest role in November that will reportedly air in Season 3 later in 2014. Dmitry's guest role will probably also be for Season 3. Maybe it will air this summer? We shall see...

In the meantime, congrats to Dmitry! We’re still hoping he can find a way to return to DWTS as a competing pro (maybe with Carla Hall?) but any Dmitry TV time is fine by us.
