“Glee” Star Dot Jones’s Wife Suffers Stroke, Needs Life-Saving Surgery
She's lucky to be alive.
She will need life-saving surgery to repair the damage.
According to TMZ, Bridgette, Dot and their daughter were getting ready to go to a Dodgers baseball game when the stroke happened.
Bridgette lost feeling in her face and fell to the floor.
Dot called 911 immediately.
Paramedics arrived and took Bridgette to a hospital that specializes in treating strokes.
Doctors found out Bridgette has a heart defect called patent foramen ovale which triggered the stroke.
It is also commonly known as "a hole in the heart."
Bridgette returned home on July 7 after three days in the hospital.
She will have surgery in a few weeks to close the hole and the doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
Dot and Bridgette have been married since 2013.
Dot proposed to her at Disneyland during the Gay Days Anaheim weekend.
In February 2017, Dot posted on Instagram that Bridgette had undergone surgery, but did not say for what.
