Dot-Marie married girlfriend Bridgett Casteen on Saturday, December 21 in their Los Angeles home, her rep told People.
Instead of doing the whole save the date/wedding invitations thing, they just invited friends over for a holiday party … then the pair surprised everyone by saying actually, you’re here for our wedding!
It’s a great way to save two birds with one biscuit (the other way sounds mean), if your friends and family are already in the same place at the same time, to both celebrate the holidays and the union of two people in love.
Dot-Marie and Bridgett have been dating since December 2010. They got engaged in October 2013 at Disneylandas part of the theme park's annual Gay Days Anaheim event. "It’s the happiest day of my life," Dot-Marie, 49, said after getting engaged. "I never thought I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind."
This is the Glee actress’ first marriage; Bridgett has two kids from her previous marriage. (Bridgett also changed her last name to "Jones" on Twitter.)
