Need a good cry? Watch the latest sneak peek from the February 2 episode of Downton Abbey.

For context on why we’re sobbing, this episode comes a little more than halfway through Season 4. Thankfully by this point in the series Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) has found a way to move forward from the crushing grief that paralyzed her at the start of the season.

That said, Mary’s love for dearly departed husband Matthew (Dan Stevens) is still very much a part of her life, so much so she declined the ardent proposal of Lord Gillingham (Tom Cullen) despite an obvious attraction to the strapping gentleman. Her head, she told him, was still “too full of Matthew.”

Come the February 2 episode we get a peek into her thoughts during an uncharacteristically candid moment. Sitting in the nursery alongside her brother-in-law Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and mother-in-law Isobel (Penelope Wilton), Mary shares her fond memories of Matthew including his beautiful proposal at the end of Season 2. You know, the one we still play on a loop online whenever feeling down?

Mary’s snow-dusted memories fall right in line with the kind of all consuming passion Tom and Isobel both felt for their respective and now lost loves.

Like we said, bring tissues.
