... But not together!

Don't worry, Downton Abbey fans. Lady Mary is not going to get busy with her late sister's husband, Tom Branson, aka "the chauffeur."

Both Mary and Branson were left without their spouses by the end of Downton Abbey Season 3. A fan asked TV Guide if they could find love with each other on Season 4.

"Oooh, I can't do that," Michelle Dockery (Mary) said. "He's my brother-in-law!" Allen Leech (Branson) agreed that it would be "great for drama" but not right for their characters. However, Michelle added, they will get a chance to bond. "We will be spending so much more time together, from what we've already seen in the early episodes. We're delighted by that. It's going to take them both some time before they find someone new."

Not that much time, though. Season 4 is bouncing ahead six months from the end of Season 3. We already know Tom Cullen has been cast as Lady Mary's new boyfriend, an old family friend named Lord Gillingham. Allen also hinted to TV Guide that Branson may have a new romance in the nursery with Downton's new nanny. The dad and the nanny! What do you think?
