Downton Abbey Season 3, Episode 6: July 1920
As the family struggles to cope with Sybil's death, Branson's decions to name his daughter Sybil and to baptise her as a Catholic lead many family members to turn against him. In an effort to get Cora to forgive her huband for Sybil's death, the Dowager Countess pressures Dr. Clarkson into saying that she would have died with or without the Caesarean section. Meanwhile, Anna finds evidence that might prove Bates innocent, but another prisoner threatens his chances of freedom. Bates threatens the inmate, and George Murray is able to get Bates a release date. Former prostitute Ethel prepares a luncheon for the Crawley women and even gets Mrs. Patmore to help. Lord Grantham is furious when he finds out about the luncheon, but the women of the family ignore him.
