Drake Bell Encourages Fans to Sign “Deport Justin Bieber” Petition

No one was happier about Justin Bieber’s arrest last week than Drake Bell. For a long time, the musician and former Nickelodeon star has been outspoken about his disdain for The Biebs on Twitter — as much as his comments may have enraged Justin’s loyal fans. And this time, Drake’s taking his mission to a whole new level: he’s ready to send Justin back to his home country of Canada… for good.

On Monday, Drake tweeted out a link to a petition on the White House’s We The People page that’s hoping to gather 100,000 signatures to show that a lot of people are ready to deport Justin in response to his recent antics.

“Become a part of the movement!!!” Drake tweeted. “SIGN YOUR NAME HERE!!”

The petition, which has already garnered over 56,000 signatures, is calling for the government to kick Justin out of the US on the grounds that he’s misrepresenting us to the rest of the world by being such a huge icon in American pop culture.

“We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked,” the petition says. “He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

Okay, yeah, Justin has done a lot of stupid things lately, but do we really need to exile him? Besides, even if we physically removed Justin from the country, his musical presence isn’t going anywhere. Just ask your friendly neighborhood Belieber.

As for whether or not deportation is an actual risk for Justin? Immigration attorney Heath Yorke says it’s not likely, considering Justin’s expert legal team, but it’s a possibility if Justin keeps getting himself into large-scale trouble — you know, like the kind that involves cuffs and an orange jumpsuit.

Fingers crossed Papa Usher is giving him the business down in Panama. Straighten up and fly right, Justin!
