Drita D’Avanzo Not Watching ‘Mob Wives’ After Big Ang’s Death
EXCLUSIVE: Big Ang to Appear on Mob Wives Reunion
Not so much for Drita D’Avanzo, who admits she’s unable to watch the VH1 show after Ang’s February 18 death.
“I will watch it when I am ready, but right now I don't care,” Drita tells RadarOnline.com. “The last thing I care about is drama between the girls.”
Everything certainly comes into perspective when someone close to you passes away, and anyone who has watched her over the last five years knows how close Drita was with the Drunken Monkey owner.
“I'm grieving,” she shares. “She was very good to me. We would laugh and talk on the side of the filming. I'm devastated.”
Eventually, the Staten Island gal hopes to be able to return to watching episodes, but she knows one scene in particular that she can never relive.
“I could never watch the scene again when Ang told me she had cancer,” she admits. “That was so sad. It makes me cry.”
Some of Ang’s co-stars are still able to tune in, however, as Karen Gravano and Marissa Jade both have been open about watching and enjoying the memory of their departed friend.
"We will never let her memory die. Her family, friends, the cast and of course her fans will always celebrate Ang, just like she would have wanted us to," Marissa tells the site.
Mob Wives airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
