DWTS All-Stars Round-Up: What Celebs Will Be Asked Back for Season 15?

It’s always fun to play the rumors-and-speculation game when it comes to the new cast of Dancing With the Stars, but this fall’s game is particularly fun. We already know everyone who will be dancing — they’re practically old friends — it’s just a matter of figuring out which maybe 10-12 of those old friends will be stepping forward.

Here’s a roundup of some of the names that have been mentioned as possibilities for Season 15 — some of them have supposedly been asked to return and others are just on celeb/pro dream lists.

This week, Us Weekly (via RadarOnline) reports that Kelly Osbourne (Season 9), Bristol Palin (Season 11), Melissa Rycroft (Season 8), Gilles Marini (Season 8), Kyle Massey (Season 11), Chelsea Kane (Season 12), Lance Bass (Season 7) and Mario Lopez (Season 3) have all been mentioned as next season's contestants.

A few weeks ago, a DWTS staffer told TV Guide some past contestants believed to be returning were Mario Lopez, Gilles Marini, Mel B. (Season 5), Sabrina Bryan (Season 5) and Kyle Massey. A show insider added to RadarOnline, "Mel absolutely wants to come back and take another crack at winning the coveted Mirror Ball trophy” with her old partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. A DWTS insider told HollywoodLife.com that producers are going to ask Season 10 diva Kate Gosselin to return, but only as a last resort since the cast and crew “hated her.”

In terms of someone from Season 14 returning, Roshon Fegan told E! Online he's totally game to come back, if his schedule permits. Gavin DeGraw was more apprehensive but said he'd consider it. E! said Gladys Knight, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver were all “iffy” about the idea.

New pro champion Peta Murgatroyd told On the Red Carpet she’d like to dance with Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, "I think he got second in Season 10. He was amazing and I think he would be a great partner with me."

Mark Ballas said last week that he’d like to see former winners J.R. Martinez (Season 13), Hines Ward (Season 12), Apolo Ohno (Season 4), and Helio Castroneves (Season 5) return to compete in the All-Stars season.

Cheryl Burke told OTRC she’d love to see funny guys like Carson Kressley (Season 13), Kyle Massey and Joey Fatone (Season 4) return. "I think just those big personalities would be great to have next season."

DWTS Troupe member Sharna Burgess told Wetpaint some names she’d like to see, including Nicole Scherzinger (Season 10), Jennifer Grey (Season 11), Hines Ward, Shawn Johnson (Season 8), Chelsea Kane and Carson Kressley.

DWTS co-host and Season 7 winner Brooke Burke-Charvet told Rachael Ray she’d love to return as a competitor. "100 percent yes!" Brooke said. "I haven't danced ballroom since I left. And being on the show, it just makes me want to dance again."

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told E! Online she’d like to see Apolo Anton Ohno, Kirstie Alley (Season 12) and "definitely" Gilles Marini.
