It’s been almost 20 years since actor Eddie Murphy dropped his first single, “Party All the Time,” and it looks like Eddie isn’t through partying quite yet. The Brooklyn-born actor is officially making his way back to music with his fifth studio album, 9.

Music producer HypeTrack took to Instagram recently to post a photo of the Raw comedian hard at work in the studio.

Last September, Eddie prepared the world for his musical comeback with the reggae-infused song “Red Light” featuring Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg) and this January, Eddie released his latest single, “Promise (You Won’t Break My Heart).”

Raw comedian is best known for his standup comedy and string of hit movies (with Coming to America even becoming the inspiration for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss’s wedding), he’s actually got some singing talent. “Party All the Time” was no. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of his release, and we can’t forget that he produced this gem, “Whatzupwitu”, with the late and (still great) Michael Jackson back in ‘93:
