We still might be two months out from the 86th Annual Academy Awards, but comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is already dressed to the nines and prepped to return as the emcee for Hollywood's biggest night — as you can see in this recently-revealed official poster for the March 2 event.
In the photo, the 55-year-old beams brightly as she sits cross-legged against a gilded backdrop, dressed in a suit and bowtie, with an Oscar in front of her.
The poster also shows off a version of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science's new logo, the image of an Oscar statuette underneath a spotlight — which just so happens to form the shape of an A.
The Finding Nemo star was named as the host for this year's Oscars in November, her second time hosting. (She was nominated for an Emmy for her job hosting the 79th year of the ceremony in 2007.)
"We are thrilled to have Ellen DeGeneres host the Oscars," veteran producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said at the time via a press release. "There are few stars today who have Ellen's gift for comedy, with her great warmth and humanity. She is beloved everywhere, and we expect that the audience at the Dolby Theater, and in homes around the globe, will be as excited by this news as we are."
Ever the jokester, Ellen quipped: "I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time. You know what they say — the third time's the charm."
Gotta love Ellen — she slays us, even in press releases!
