Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian may have a super-tight relationship with their mom, Kris Jenner, and stepdad Bruce, but a new report claims that they showed no such love for their late father, Robert Kardashian.
Robert’s widow, Ellen Kardashian, claims that her former stepdaughters hardly made time to see their dying father during the eight weeks between his diagnosis of esophageal cancer and his death at age 59.
RadarOnline.com reports that Ellen was left without any help from her Robert’s children, forcing her to move her own daughter, April Lallo, into the California mansion the couple shared to help handle the responsibility of his medical care.
In a newly-filed court document, Ellen claims that, on the day of their father’s death, the Kardashian girls chose to party rather than spend time with their ailing dad.
“The Kardashian children rarely visited Robert once he began cancer treatment,” Ellen writes in the filing. “At the moment Robert took his last breath, none of his children were by his side, opting instead to attend a party at Kourtney’s home.”
While Ellen’s report is both compelling and heartbreaking, it may not be solely motivated by her love for her late husband. Ellen and the Kardashians are currently embroiled in a legal battle stemming from Ellen’s alleged dissemination of the Kardashians’ private diaries, photos, and possessions to media outlets. Ellen has countersued her former family, claiming that she has been defamed by the Kardashians, among other nasty accusations.
Do you believe Ellen’s accusations about her former step children?
