Watch out Grey's Anatomy fans: After she's done playing Meredith Grey, actress Ellen Pompeo might start a second career… as a rapper!

When the 44-year-old actress chatted with Queen Latifah on the latter's new talk show, Queen asked Ellen about her appreciation of Snoop Dogg's music.

"I've always been a lover of hip-hop culture," Ellen revealed. (We're learning more and more about our Grey's girl each day!)

"See, your life is so much more rich, isn't it?" Queen replied.

"I was always sneaking in the clubs. I was always sneaking in the black clubs," Ellen admitted.

We know what Ellen means, of course, but we feel a bit ambivalent about her word choice! The Queen, however, was unfazed.

"Oh, that's why you know what 'super-tight' and 'have that swag' is!" she laughed. "The girl got flavor!"

Then, as you can see below, Queen challenged Ellen to a rap battle, even bringing out a whiteboard — done up like the Grey Sloan Memorial OR schedule board — with index cards containing Grey's-themed rap verses. Two lucky audience members joined the celebs to guess the last word of each line.

"This Greek yogurt is super-sick creamy," Ellen rapped, doing her best with the groan-inducing lyrics. "My favorite doctor is Doctor…"

"McDreamy!" her teammate chimed in, scoring a point for her and Ellen.

Then it was Queen's turn. Check out how she did in the clip below!
