She "Couldn't Live Without Coffee." In response to a fan question on Twitter about her favorite food, Emily admitted that coffee is an absolute necessity. It's kind of food, we guess! (She did add that she loves mac and cheese as well.)
She Moved Around a Lot as a Kid. If you ask her, Emily will say she grew up in Nebraska, but her family lived in many different homes. In a Q&A with AMC, Emily reflected on her many childhood homes. "In second grade I think I went to three different schools. We were in Nevada, and Oregon and as well as a few different places in Nebraska. I did go to high school in the same town," she said. "One thing I remember that was interesting was going to my parents house for the first time once they had moved somewhere else and just that feeling of it being so different. It’s good because it makes you see that your family is why you’re together."
She's Not a Really Big Thanksgiving Turkey Fan. Emily doesn't really eat meat. So what does she eat instead? In 2012, it was butternut squash and sweet onion pizza!
She Gets All Sisterly With On-Screen Sib Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene). "I’m the middle child and I have a really great older sister. I definitely related to that dynamic," Emily dished in an AMC Q&A. "Lauren and I became like that on set: We’d talk about boys and clothes and hang out."
