Emma Watson: When I Get Pregnant, I’m Cutting All My Hair Off

Hermonie be damned! Emma Watson wants her hair short. The Harry Potter actress tells Derek Blasberg of Wonderland Magazine that when the time comes for her to play mama, she’ll be booking an appointment with a stylist.

I miss it so much. The minute I get pregnant, the first thing I’m going to do is cut my hair off because I know won't be working for a time,” she says. “If I wasn’t an actress, I’d keep it that way. I could wash it in the sink and shake it out like a dog. It’s so low maintenance!!!!”

As, um, detailed as that image may be, Emma says it’s not just the ease of shorter hair that has her lusting after losing her locks. In fact, she’d been daydreaming about a pixie cut for years before she made the cut in August 2010. “It wasn’t unexpected to me,” she says. “I had been crafting it in my mind for years. So, when the time came, I went ahead and did it.”

Emma’s since grown her hair back out we’re guessing it has something to do with that whole “I’m an actress” thing she mentioned earlier — but desperately misses her pixie.

“To be honest, I felt more myself with that haircut,” she says. “I felt bold, and it felt empowering because it was my choice. It felt sexy, too. Maybe it was the bare neck, but for some reason I felt super, super sexy.”

What we take from this: If you see Emma sporting a shorter ‘do in the future, check for a baby bump, too.
