A death could be coming. OK, let's start with the worst news: The winter premiere, which airs on March 20, is called "Death Will Have His Day," and features the introduction of a grief counselor. Sounds to us like the December 2 fall finale could be deadly...
Hakeem and Cookie butting heads? Over the course of this season we've seen Cookie and Hakeem get a lot closer, but that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing from here on out. More flashback are coming. This week's episode was heavy on the flashbacks, as we saw Lucious possibly witness his mother's suicide. But just because we reached a climax in the flashbacks doesn't mean we're done with them — in fact, Ilene confirms more are coming our way.
Jamal and Michael aren't so over. Michael has been MIA since he cheated on Jamal, but that doesn't mean he's gone from the show for good. In fact, Ilene says “Michael is kind of Jamal’s one, as we see it for the foreseeable future” and reassures fans they will meet again.

Watch out for Anika. Boo Boo Kitty has been kind of a mess this season, but we shouldn't count her out. The Lyons have totally screwed her over, and Ilene says "there will be consequences."
Empire Season 2 airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
