Bachelorette 2014 Episode 7: Did Nick Viall Just Go Full Creeper?

Look, we’re never going to knock a guy for taking initiative in a relationship or making a grand gesture, but there is such a thing as going too far. In June 30’s Episode 7 of The Bachelorette Season 10, salty suitor Nick Viall may have done just that when the “frontrunner” showed up at Andi Dorfman’s hotel room door totally unannounced!

“It’s relatively early and I think Andi’s in her hotel, so tonight I’m gonna make a move,” Nick told the ABC cameras. “I’ve been persistent my whole life. When something’s important to me, I go after it. You don’t get things you don’t ask for.”

Points for persistence, buddy, but what he did next veered eerily close to stalker-level pursuit. The salesman stopped at the front desk of the Bachelorette’s hotel, telling a gullible gal that he lost his room key, can’t remember the room number, but he can tell her the name of his “wife,” Andi Dorfman. Eek!

Even more concerningly, the hotel clerk gave the dude a key and sent him on his merry way. It’s that easy! Though to be fair, there’s a 99.9 percent chance that the ABC producers gave the hotel a heads up.

“This was a risk, and a risk I think will pay off,” Nick’s voice over said, as he arrived at Andi’s door. So did it pay off?

Lucky for “Tricky Nicky” as ABC is calling him these days, Andi went for it, hook, line and sinker! The gang prosecutor pointed out that at this point in the game “they should want to come sneak over! This is week seven, go for it!”

The two went on a romantic courtyard date, and then end up making out in the street — and boy was Andi into it! “When he kisses me it’s like I can feel what he is thinking,” the Atlanta gal gushed. “It’s so hot. It’s so hot.”

So there you have it — sometimes those ambush dates work. But just a reminder to guys, this doesn’t really work when you don’t have producers to give you the heads up about staying in full hair and makeup. Our luck, we’d be in full-on robe mode with pimple cream on…
