Here’s Everything We Know About Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 6 — “Run, Ali, Run”

You better believe we’re dying for any and all clues about what will happen in the aftermath of the bombing on Pretty Little Liars. Season 5, Episode 6 (“Run, Ali, Run”) seems to pick up right where the 100th episode left off, with the Liars outside of Toby’s burning house and a text from “A” on their phones. What else goes down in Tuesday’s episode? Here’s a roundup of everything we know!

Ali wants to leave town. In the aftermath of the horrific explosion, Ali is thinking returning to Rosewood wasn’t such a good idea. According to the synopsis, Ali is “start[ing] to consider leaving for good.” But the Liars are “determined to keep her safe in Rosewood and to figure out who and what is behind this latest incident.” Good luck, gals! Might we suggest training Pepe the Dog in bomb-sniffing? Just a thought.

“A” is back, bitches. If it wasn’t clear from Toby’s exploding house or the beep of the Liars’ cell phones in the immediate aftermath, then the promo for next week’s episode makes it clear that “A” is back in business. Her inaugural text back: "Did you miss me?" Um, kind of? Spencer’s theory: “A” has been taking a nap for the last few episodes. We support this. Villainy seems tiring.

Eddie Lamb is back, too! Forget “A”. The return we’re most excited about in Season 5: Eddie Lamb’s! Eddie is one of the nurses at Radley Sanitarium, and he was especially nice to Spencer during her time there. He also seems to know some of Radley’s secrets, or at least, not believe the mental health facility’s company lines. In next week’s episode, Spencer visits Ed to ask him about Bethany Young, the 17-year-old Radley escapee found in Ali’s grave. Check out their convo in this sneak peek.

Mr. Hastings confronts Spencer. As we can see in this sneak peek, things are coming to a head for the Hastings family. When Spencer sneaks home to grab some school books, her father confronts her, asking why she and Mrs. Hastings have moved into a hotel. He obviously missed the 100th episode, but Spencer fills her dad in: Mrs. Hastings knows that her husband and Melissa were lying about their whereabouts during the time of Mrs. DiLaurentis’ murder.

Caleb isn’t so sure he should have returned. It seems that Returned to Rosewood Regret is contagious. According to the episode synopsis, Caleb is also “second-guessing his return.” But, even with the exploding houses and the constant text alerts, Rosewood has got to be better than Ravenswood, right? Also, the Liars could use Caleb’s deductive reasoning skills. In the promo for next week’s episode, we see him telling Hanna in regards to the explosion: “'A' doesn't shoot and miss." Why was the Cavanaugh house targeted? Excellent question, Caleb!

Hanna ruins date night. Of course, Caleb’s return to Rosewood has complicated Hanna’s relationship with Travis. In this sneak peek, we see that not only has Hanna forgotten date night in lieu of spending time with Ali, but has chosen to lie to Travis about why she got so drunk at Lucas’ party in last week’s episode. This is not going to end well.

Ezra looks for answers. Caleb isn’t the only Team Liar dude stepping up his “A” game. The synopsis also reveals that “Ezra dives into his research to help find answers.” It’s about time he started pulling his weight! All that surveillance equipment and he still hasn’t figured out who “A” is? Geez.

Aria is still worried. In the aftermath of “A”’s return, Aria’s paranoia about her role in Shana’s murder coming to light seems to have ratched up. In the promo, we see her telling Emily: “It’s only a matter of time before ‘A’ exposes what I did.” It’s OK, Aria. It’s more likely that “A” will blackmail you into doing tons of stuff instead of exposing you.

Ali is attacked! You know how the synopsis was waxing all poetic about the Liars intent to keep Ali safe? Well, they already seem to be sleeping on the job. At the end of the promo, we see someone sneaking up behind Ali, ready to attack. Yikes!
