Miley Cyrus on Her Ex-Fiancee Liam Hemsworth: “I Love Liam, And Liam Loves Me”
It’s been almost exactly a year since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth ended their engagement, but don’t worry — the couple still thinks about each other from time to time. At least, according to Miley, they do. Both sides of the former Miam equation have admitted that they shared something so special that they’ll always have a place for each other in their hearts, and in a recent interview, Miley confirmed that’s exactly how she feels.
“I love Liam,” Miley said when she sat down with Australia’s Sunday Night, according to E! Online. “Liam loves me.”
It’s sweet to hear, but don’t get too excited — we definitely don’t see these two pulling a Justin and Selena and getting back together. As sad as it was, it’s over, and both parties seem happier for it.
Another topic Miley opened up about during her interview? Her drug use, which she swears isn’t hurting her brain. In fact, she was happy to provide a long list of things that are far more detrimental to one’s brain cells than smoking weed could ever be.
“Do you know what hurts your brain? Googling yourself,” the 21-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer said. “You know what hurts your brain? Instagram. You know what hurts your brain? Sitting there and reading the comments on Facebook. I have a 14-year-old sister and I go through her comments and people are calling her a slut and that’s a 14-year-old. I think that’s hurting your brain.”
Well said — although social media is just one of the dangerous things we should maybe take a break from every once in awhile. But it sounds like Miley has things pretty figured out, and she’s prepared with another list: Things you can do instead of beating people down on Instagram.
“Be free, be yourself, be happy, read books, be the voice of animals,” Miley said. “And have a good time!”
