Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump Is Going to Be a Father!
From Fall Out Boy to fatherhood! The band’s lead singer and guitarist, Patrick Stump, might not be getting tattoos like the rest of his bandmates, but he is joining them in the the world of parenting.
That’s right, he and his wife Elisa Yao, are expecting their first child. What’s more? Their bundle of joy is arriving this October!
The singer announced the happy news during an interview with KIIS FM saying, “I’m about to have a kid or a tattoo. I’m like the snows of Siberia — just untouched,” the 30-year-old jokes, adding, “I’ve been keeping it under wraps.”
Patrick and Elisa tied the knot back in October 2012, and just two years later, they’re finally adding a child to the band’s growing family. “The band is in a crazy place right now because there’s a lot of little kids running around now,” he adds.
The latest bandmate to welcome a child was bassist Pete Wentz, whose girlfriend recently gave birth to their first child, son Saint Lazslo. This is also Pete’s second kid, his eldest son, Bronx Mowgli, is from his previous relationship with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson.
So does the father-of-two have any sound advice for Patrick? “You can never have enough Kleenex and baby wipes,” Patrick says. Duly noted.
