Farrah Abraham Stirs Up Controversy with Open-Casket Photo of Grandfather
Time to form yet another prayer circle for Farrah Abraham, because her grandfather, Goodmond H. Danielsen, Jr., passed away on July 25, 2014.
Farrah and her daughter, Sophia, flew to Council Bluffs, Iowa, to attend Goodmond's funeral service, and the entire event has started a Teen Mom controversy of epic proportions. Sigh, leave it up to Farrah to turn something like a funeral into drama! Here's what went down...
Basically, Farrah made the somewhat strange decision to post photos of Goodmond's funeral to Twitter and Facebook — including a photo of his open casket.
"Birth & burial, So much love & a family who was touched by you," she tweeted along with the controversial photos. "You are the best man we knew you Grandpa #Heaven."
While Farrah certainly has the right to post whatever she wants to social media, some fans think she went too far with the photo of her grandpa's body. Let's just say both her Twitter and Facebook feed are full of horrified haters claiming that Farrah's images are in poor taste and should be removed.
While seeing a dead body on Twitter isn't exactly the most pleasant experience in the world, open-casket funerals are standard in many religions, and as such, should be treated with respect.
Of course, it goes without saying that once you choose to follow Farrah's Twitter feed, you're opening yourself up to all kinds of NSFL (Not Safe For Life) experiences.
Do you think Farrah's open-casket photo went too far? Either way, girlfriend deserves our condolences for the passing of her beloved grandfather!
