Farrah Abraham will be hitting up the small screen on VH1's Couples Therapy, and it looks like girlfriend might have some ‘splainin’ to do. According to the show's dramatic preview, Farrah was stood up by her better half, DJ Brian Dawe, who she reportedly dated for a few months in 2013.
Turns out Brian was a no-show in the Couples Therapy House of Hotness, leaving Farrah all by her lonesome. We've been scratching our heads trying to come up with a reason why Brian would stand Farrah up, and now this dude is claiming that their relationship was staged. Say it ain't so!
“I got myself in this situation because I was only thinking about the profit I would be making from doing this show. That was wrong,” Brian tells Starcasm. “In the back of my head I realized I could not participate in a TV show that would further exploit Farrah, and where I would have to lie to be involved.”
Uh oh. This isn't the first time Farrah's been accused of trying to con someone in to appearing on Couples Therapy (we see you, Carson Underwood!), but she's already taken it to Twitter to subtweet Brian and deny his claims.
Looks like Farrah is implying that Brian's lying about their faux relationship. Ironic, considering that Brian's also accusing Farrah of lying. “Farrah told me to lie to the network and tell them the relationship was real,” Brian said, "[I] made a life changing decision to stand up for what I believe in and turn down the check I would be receiving for my appearance on this show.”
It'll be interesting to watch Couples Therapy with the knowledge that Farrah's boyfriend claims their relationship was a sham, and it looks like some of this gal's Teen Mom peers are questioning her intentions. "I'm not even going to watch #CouplesTherapy now that I found out Farrah staged it entirely once again," Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans tweeted. "#TiskTisk #FakeRelationship."
