Farrah Abraham gets a pretty bad rap thanks to that one awkward time she filmed a sex tape with James Deen (so many questions), but there's no denying that girlfriend has been through a lot in the past few years. Not only has this Teen Mom suffered through a series of terrible (and possibly non-existent) relationships, she recently revealed that she was raped multiple times in the wake of her sex tape and that she was physically abused by her parents.
Farrah has a lot of issues to work through, but luckily she got the help she needed during VH1's Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn Berman. Farrah tells E! that Dr. Jenn helped her immeasurably — especially when it comes to relationships.
"[She] helped me in a way of saying I can love myself in the meantime of being alone and this loneliness that I feel is not going to last forever, but in the meantime of getting from A to C — which hopefully is marriage one day — I have to go through B, which is really finding myself, really waiting for the right person who can handle everything that comes with me," Farrah says. "And I can take the time to really get to know the person and if something doesn't work out from the get-go, I just need to say goodbye."
Unfortunately, Farrah's time on Couples Therapy wasn't all fun and games. While Dr. Jenn was a pillar of support, her co-stars were less than helpful.
"I'm just very sad that a lot of the older women in that household cannot help me and instead it's been very hurtful to feel that I can't even be close to them," Farrah explains. "I don't really know what's behind them."
We have a feeling that Farrah's talking about former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, who's been pretty open about her negative feelings toward Farrah. To the left!
Do you think this girl has made progress during Couples Therapy? She definitely seems much more centered to us!Source: E!
