NeNe Leakes to Walk in Fashion Week 2014: Will She Debut Her Own Collection?

Let’s get real, we praise NeNe Leakes and her fierceness on a daily basis, and now it seems like others have begun to take notice as well. It’s about time!

On January 24, NeNe tweeted a major announcement about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, which kicks off in New York on February 6. “Who's coming 2 Fashion week? Guess what, I will walk n Fashion week! Can u guess where?” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star wrote.

We’re assuming NeNe wants her followers to guess which show she’s walking in, and honestly, your guess is as good as ours. We know Mrs. Leakes loves her designer duds, so it’s possible that multiple fashion houses would want to see her strut her stuff in their garments, but we also had another theory in mind.

NeNe has been working on her own fashion line — even sharing her beautiful vision board with us earlier this month — and though we were under the impression that her clothing line wasn’t yet completed, there is a possibility that NeNe could be walking down the runway wearing fashions of her own design. How cool would that be?!

Sure, it’s unusual for a first-time designer to debut her premiere collection at Fashion Week, but this is NeNe Leakes we’re talking about, she can do anything! It’s also worth noting that NeNe just returned from roughly three weeks in the Big Apple during which she tweeted that she attended several big meetings.

We have a feeling NeNe will keep us guessing until NYFW rolls around next month, but we’re just glad that she’s involved in the festivities in some way, even if we won’t be getting a peek at her own collection.

Do you think NeNe will show off her own clothing line at NYFW 2014? Tell us your thoughts and theories below!
