You know what they say: when you’ve got it, flaunt it — a motto Kendall Jenner seems to live by. This reality starlet turned fashion model has already walked runways for the likes of Chanel Couture, Marc Jacobs, and Givenchy, which basically means she’s a fashion icon, right?

Not so fast! If you recall, Kendall recently donned a new fashion, something we like to call pelvic cleavage, during the 2014 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto. There, she and her co-host (and sister!) Kylie Jenner walked the red carpet and turned some heads, thanks to Kendall’s Fausto Puglisi gown that featured pelvic-thigh-high slits that came all the way up to her midriff.

"Why do one slit when you can do TWO!? #MMVAs," Kendall wrote on Instagram before the show. Sure, her reasoning seems… valid, but how does the fashion world feel about it?

Wetpaint Entertainment recently caught up with stylist Brad Goreski of It’s a Brad, Brad World fame during the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Summer Fashion Party, and we had to know, was Kendall’s look too much?

“When you put a slit in something, you’re obviously highlighting a certain part of the body,” Brad explained to interviewers. “So it makes sense for a leg, an open back makes sense to show the back. But I don’t know if that part of the body is something that we really need to see on the red carpet.”

And there you have it! But if you’re all for showing off your hard-earned pelvic cleavage, then by all means, where your slits-for-days like you just don’t care!
