If you haven’t noticed, fall is right around the corner, which means it’s time to switch out your sandals and swimsuits for booties and sweaters. While getting your mindset adjusted to chilly weather is one thing, getting your closet ready is another!
Luckily, Yahoo! Style's editor-in-chief and former City star, Joe Zee, is here to give us some serious pointers. Plus, his new collection for QVC, Styled by Joe Zee, is a go-to line to stock up on this season’s hottest pieces.
“I can always interpret and bring the latest trends in a very wearable and accessible way,” Joe tells Wetpaint Entertainment about his collection. “Wearing the latest trends doesn't have to be frustrating or intimidating. For fall, I was inspired a lot by the trend of leather, knits, and prints.”
What are some of fall’s biggest trends?
I would have to say that leather and a cozy knit are really emerging as huge trends for fall. The idea is that a leather motorcycle jacket has become the new classic and everyone needs an oversized knit.
What should women invest in this upcoming season?
A great sweater, a statement coat, and slim pants.
How can the everyday woman easily transition her closet from summer to fall?
Prints are the easiest way to transition your favorite summer pieces to fall. Try layering those pieces with heavier fall fabrics or as an underpinning, and it’s a great way to keep wearing what you love.
In your opinion, which celebrity has the best overall style off the red carpet?
Sarah Jessica Parker always looks at ease and relaxed wherever she is, but always so stylish and cool!
How about on the red carpet?

Best dressed at the 2014 Emmys?
