Charlie who?

E.L. James, the British writer whose erotic Twilight fan fiction turned into the lascivious Fifty Shades of Grey series, has just given her blessing to Jamie Dornan, the recently-announced on-screen portrayer of her character Christian Grey.

She tweeted her benediction to Jamie on October 24, writing, "Stow your twitchy palms, ladies… Our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1 x."

This message comes nearly two weeks after E.L. kissed Charlie goodbye. "Okay, girls and boys — hold on to your hats. It's about to get serious," she wrote on October 12, right before news broke that the Sons of Anarchy actor was leaving the project. 15 minutes later, she tweeted, "I wish Charlie all the best. x."

The 50-year-old novelist — whose real name is Erika Leonard, but don't tell anyone! — has seen her work purchased over 70 million times, earning her $95 million in the span of one year and making her one of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2012.

Jamie, meanwhile — in case you haven't caught the 10 million "Who Is Jamie Dornan?" features in the media over the past three days — is a Northern Irish actor and model best-known for his work on Once Upon a Time.

Guess there's no doubt about it: Jamie Dornan Is indeed our new Christian Grey! Just don't drop out, dude.
