Finn Pops the Question! Top 5 OMG Moments from Glee Season 3, Episode 10
This week’s return of Glee did not disappoint, as it was packed with crazy twists and jaw-dropping moments — especially that ending! Here are our picks for the top five OMG moments from Season 2, Episode 10: “Yes/No.”
Holy sexting, Batman! Becky’s (Lauren Potter) storyline this week was both charming and heartbreaking, as we see her feelings for Artie (Kevin McHale) go largely unrequited, despite that date to Breadstix in which they discussed their favorite flicks. (Who doesn’t love Woody and Buzz?) And anytime screen legend Helen Mirren decides she wants to reprise her role as Becky’s hilarious inner voice, we’re all ears. (We just hope she promises not to tell us that our hair looks like a dead squirrel.)
Finn (Cory Monteith)’s storyline was the toughest of the week, as he learned that his drug-addicted father did not die as valiant a death as Finn was led to believe. It was hard to hear Finn refer to himself as having “loser DNA,” but we’re pretty confident he’ll pull through, especially with such a great support system. And how cute will he be as Schue (Matthew Morrison)’s best man? Any excuse to see Finn in a tux is fine by us.
3. Synchronized Swimming. Soaking wet tuxedos. One Epic Marriage Proposal!
It’s finally wedding bells for Wemma! In fact, this was quite the exciting episode for these two, with Emma (Jayma Mays) getting her first song in a looong time, followed by Will’s amazing proposal in the pool. (And what’s not romantic about the smell of chlorine?) We just hope there weren’t any kids peeing in that pool beforehand.
Frankly, we’re none too surprised that Mercedes (Amber Riley) still may have feelings for Sam (Chord Overstreet). How could anyone not have feelings for this dude? Still, Mercedes’ boyfriend, Shane, doesn’t seem thrilled about seeing Sam with his girl — so we’re thinking a throwdown may be on the way. As for us, we’ll just be happy with a few more shots of Sam toweling off after swim practice. What: Us, shallow? (Get it — “shallow”? The pool? Never mind!)
We have to admit it: We’ll cry for about a year if Rachel (Lea Michele) ends up saying no to Finn’s heartfelt proposal at the end of the episode. But are they really for marriage? Hard to say, considering they’ve had their ups and downs at times, but they’ve been pretty perfect together this season, so we’ve got our fingers crossed! (Hey, Finchel — you two won’t forget to send us an invite to the nuptials, right?)
