Miley Cyrus Documentary: First Trailer Released! (VIDEO)

We hope you haven't reached your Miley Cyrus saturation point yet! MTV has dropped the first trailer for its upcoming documentary Miley: The Movement.

"I was, like, born to become who I am, like, right now," the controversial 20-year-old says in the clip, which you can watch below. "Right now I'm at a point in my career where I can be exactly what I wanna be, who I wanna be … I'm starting as a new artist."

In the preview, we see Miley in the days, hours, and even seconds before her revolutionary 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance.

"Everyone takes the VMAs so [seriously]," she tells Britney Spears before the performance. "And I just wanna come out and, like, shoot a hot dog gun. I wanna have fun!"

"You're always gonna make people talk," she tells us in a confessional. "You might as well make them talk for, like, two weeks rather than two seconds," she muses.

In its official press release, MTV describes the hour-long film thusly:

For the last four months, MTV has been granted unmatched access to Cyrus, who will unabashedly take viewers on her whirlwind journey from tween television sensation to one of pop music's most magnetic and unapologetically controversial artists during Miley: The Movement premiering on Wednesday, October 2, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The intimate, 60-minute documentary film will capture the full essence and evolution of Cyrus as she gears up for the release of her debut RCA Records album, Bangerz, on Tuesday, October 8. The special will chronicle her triumphs and struggles at home, in the studio, and on the road, as well as the planning, rehearsals, performance and media frenzy surrounding her 2013 MTV Video Music Awards medley with Robin Thicke.

But perhaps the Party Queen herself sums it up best: "There's an army — we're all part of that movement."
