Fox News Anchor Gregg Jarrett Arrested at Minneapolis Airport Bar (VIDEO)
Gregg Jarrett isn’t flying so high at the moment.
E! News is reporting that the 59-year-old Fox News anchor was jailed for a dozen hours on Wednesday after being “belligerent and uncooperative” with police officers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Needless to say, we are guessing that Mr. Jarrett probably missed his flight.
The incident reportedly took place at an airport bar when employees alerted the police to Jarrett’s behavior — as they believed he was under the influence. One bar employee said Jarrett “appeared to be acting very intoxicated,” and even thought he could have possibly been mixing alcohol with a narcotic. Yikes.
The responding officers noted that Jarrett was “uncooperative, resistant and combative” during his arrest.
Fox News released the following statement in response: "We were made aware late last night that Gregg Jarrett was arrested in Minneapolis yesterday and charged with a misdemeanor. He is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date for which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined."
Sounds like Gregg Jarrett might be in more trouble than just a misdemeanor.
