American Horror Story: Freak Show — Cast Confirms Roles at Comic-Con
Many of the creative forces behind American Horror Story: Freak Show converged in San Diego this weekend, as Vulture reports — to give Comic-Con attendees precious details about the upcoming installment of the FX anthology. (For one, this season's big bad will "scare the s—t out of you.")
We now have confirmation of who's playing who — validating many details from the ostensibly-leaked call sheet that found its way online last week.
Without further ado, here are the characters who will inhabit the 1950s-era sideshow in Jupiter, FL.
Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, the freak show's German ex-pat of a manager.
Kathy Bates as Ethel Darling.
Sarah Paulson as Bette and Dot Tattler, conjoined twins who share a body. (Sarah told attendees that she didn't want to spoil the special effects magic but that they do not use prosthetics for the other head.)
Angela Bassett as Desiree Dupree
Michael Chiklis as Wendell del Toredo, a strongman who's the husband of Desiree and the ex-husband of Ethel
Evan Peters as Jimmy Darling, the son of Ethel and Wendell
Emma Roberts as a character named Maggie
John Carroll Lynch as a villain, presumably the Twisted Clown.
American Horror Story: Freak Show will air this fall on FX.
