Full House’s DJ Tanner and Boyfriend to Play On-Screen Couple Again

It’s official! DJ Tanner and her boyfriend Steve Hale are still together after all these years. Well, at least in front of the camera. The actors who portrayed the resident teen power couple on Full House will be reprising their role as a duo in TV series The Neighbors.

Candace Cameron, now 37 and with the married last name of Bure, and Scott Weinger, 38, will guest star on the ABC show, which chronicles the misadventures of a family of humans who happen to find themselves living in a community of extraterrestrials.

While there’s no word on if Cameron and Scott will be from outer space, we do know they’ll be “new visitors to the alien neighborhood,” according to Entertainment Weekly. EW also reports they’ll stop by during the Season 2 finale, which has no official air date as of publishing.

As it turns out, Scott’s actually a writer for the show, which might help explain how this particular TV reunion came to pass.

Of course, it’s not the only trip down the Full House memory lane we’ve had this year. DJ’s dad, as played by Bob Saget, and his pals, Dave Coulier and John Stamos, sang a ditty with Jimmy Fallon just days before their much-anticipated commercial aired during the Super Bowl.

If Candace and Scott’s re-emergence is half as good, we’re in for an out-of-this-world treat!
