Grey’s Anatomy’s Gaius Charles Reunites With Friday Night Lights Cast (PHOTO)

While intern Shane Ross has been slowly but surely warming our hearts on Grey’s Anatomy, our love for portrayer Gaius Charles stemmed from his Smash-ing presence on Friday Night Lights.

For five glorious years, Gaius played Brian “Smash” Williams on the hit NBC show, and even though it ended a few years ago, he hasn’t forgotten his roots; in fact, he reunited with a handful of his castmates over the weekend

While they all keep in touch and hang out individually — as seen when Wetpaint Entertainment chatted with a few cast members at ATX Television Festival over the summer — this photo brought together five of our favorite Texas boys.

Pictured in the photo above (from left to right) is Matt Lauria (Luke Cafferty), Gaius, Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen), Scott Porter (Jason Street), and Kevin Rankin (Herc). A few of them shared it, but Gaius’s hashtags were the best: “#FNL #FridayNightLights #TexasForever #GreatFriends #GreatTimes.”

We have a lot of feelings about this photo, but we can sum ‘em up in nine words: Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose. Texas forever, y’all!

Oh, and when is that movie happening? We’re not-so-patiently waiting.
