With just three episodes left, we expected Game of Thrones Season 3 to be barrelling into the home stretch by this point, but it seems content with a slow burn (perhaps appropriate for a season that's included so much about the fiery Lord of Light). What can you expect from Sunday's Season 3, Episode 8: “Second Sons” (May 19, 2013)?

HBO's official synopsis reads:
King’s Landing hosts a wedding, and Tyrion and Sansa spend the night together. Daenerys meets the Titan’s Bastard. Davos (Liam Cunningham) demands proof from Melisandre. Sam (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) meet an older gentleman.
Hmmm ... cryptic, cryptic, and more cryptic. But there's a lot to be gleaned from this small summary.
First of all, the wedding in question seems pretty clearly Tyrion and Sansa's. After all, why else would they be spending the night together? (Plus, having that wedding now fits the book's timeline). Even non-book readers can probably guess that the Titan's Bastard is the sellsword we see in the promo; based on the promo we can also gather that Davos probably wants proof of Gendry's bloodline before Mel does something terrible to him in the name of magic.
As for the "older gentleman" Sam and Gilly meet — well, we won't spoil it for those of you who haven't read the books, but if that's who we think it is, we're quite excited about that story.
