And we thought nothing shocked Tywin Lannister! Charles Dance, who portrays the Lannister patriarch on Game of Thrones, was apparently just as shocked as the rest of us upon viewing the now famous Red Wedding scene from Season 3, Episode 9: "The Rains of Castamere"

Dance revealed to the London Evening Standard, “I wasn’t even in the scene, but I watched it, of course, and was absolutely shocked, actually.” You and everyone else, Charles.

Charles is far from the first actor to weigh in on the Red Wedding. Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and Michelle Fairley (Cat Stark) have talked extensively about their experience filming the scene and saying goodbye, Maisie Williams posted an amazing Vine of her thoughts, and many of the other actors have mentioned that it was hard to watch. Not Peter Dinklage, though he hasn't even seen it!

Charles went on to add, “And I know the amount of tweeting that’s gone on [about the Red Wedding].” So Tywin Lannister is keeping up with Twitter? Makes sense he has to stay one step ahead of the Starks after all, thanks to Arya’s recent domination of the medium!
