Emmy nominations are coming.

On July 18, 2013, the Emmys will announce the 2013 nominations, and Game of Thrones fans are holding their breaths to see if the show can rack up a few extra acting nods for Season 3. But before you start writing screeds about how your favorite Game of Thrones actor is totally the one we deserves a nom, it's useful to know which actors actually submitted their names for consideration.

See, if you check out the official ballot for the 2013 Emmys, it turns out the pool of Game of Thrones actors who can actually be nominated is pretty shallow, compared to the number of people on the show. See for yourself, below.

Supporting Actor
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister)
Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister)
Kit Harington (Jon Snow)

Editor's note: Yes, that means no Charles Dance. Yes, we are super disappointed too. Though really, Nikolaj should own this category this year.

Supporting Actress
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen)
Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell)
Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark)
Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister)
Sibel Kekilli (Shae)

Guest Actor
Ciarán Hinds (Mance Rayder)

Guest Actress
Diana Rigg (Lady Olenna)

Is there anyone you're particularly disappointed to see left out? Who from this list do you think deserves a nom? Sound off in the comments below!
