As any fan of Game of Thrones knows, no character is safe. Main characters can die at a moment’s notice, no matter how popular they are amongst fans. So, should we be worried about the fate of the most badass Stark child, Arya Stark, in Season 4? The A Song of Ice and Fire book series provides the likely answer.

When we last checked in with Arya, she was getting pretty stabby with some guests of the Red Wedding. Now that she seems to have morphed into a cold-blooded killer, does that mean that karma’s going to catch up with her and she’ll kick the bucket next?

Let’s face it, Starks are dropping like flies. In the three seasons we’ve seen so far, we’ve seen the deaths of Arya’s father, mother, and eldest brother. Is our heroine next on the chopping block? She’s running around with the Hound, who’s about as dangerous a travel companion as one could ask for, so you know the two of them are going to get into all sorts of trouble. Will Arya survive through all of it?

You can sleep easy, Stark fans. As tough as Arya is, she’ll probably outlast all the other Starks and the Lannisters. We’re pretty sure that she and the Hound are going to run into some trouble while they’re wandering the countryside, but it’s not going to be anything this dynamic duo can’t handle. In fact, we expect Arya to become even more of a force to be reckoned with next season when she recovers her beloved sword Needle in a bar fight. You read that right — if the show continues to follow the books, little Arya gets into a bar fight next season. It’s going to be amazing.

While Arya lives through the season, her P.I.C. the Hound may not be so lucky. After the aforementioned bar fight, the Hound takes on some pretty serious wounds and Arya leaves him to die. His fate will likely remain unclear this season, but we at least know that, unless the show suddenly departs drastically from the books, Arya will be back in Season 5, kicking ass and taking names.
