As we eagerly await our next trip to Westeros, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of new cast members joining the crew. Just last week, Michiel Huisman caused waves by replacing Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis. Before that, we learned another key player was replaced, as well as who will play Mace Tyrell and Ellaria Sand, among others.
So what’s the latest casting news that has us in a tizzy? Rumor has it Hoji Fortuna will play Brown Ben Plumm, the commander of the mercenary Second Sons — and rumor is all it is, reports WinterIsComing.net.
“According to HBO, Hoji Fortuna has NOT been cast,” the site says.
Well, not cast as anything more than maybe an extra with a couple of lines. It seems pretty clear that Hoji will have some kind of role on the show seeing as his Twitter account (though there’s no blue check mark to verify it’s legit) has been teasing “a trip to King's Landing” (aka Dubrovnik, Croatia, aka our next vacation destination).
If Hoji didn’t get the bigger part of Ben Plumm, it’s a bummer for him, but at least it gives us more time to speculate on who will lead the Sons next season (Chiwetel Ejiofor, anyone?). Got theories of your own? Share them below!
