Natalie Dormer has gotten used to working in the fantasy realm thanks to her role as future queen Margaery Tyrell on HBO’s epic series Game of Thrones, but we’ll soon see her give the sci-fi genre a shot with her upcoming part in the third film in The Hunger Games series, Mockingjay.

Natalie tells Live with Kelly and Michael that it’s “great to be running around in pants and boots and get away from the long skirts for a bit.” Sounds to us like Natalie finds Margaery’s wardrobe to be a little stifling! Her comment about “running around” also makes it sound like her Hunger Games role could feature more action than her role as Margaery, who is more of an intellectual warrior than a physical one.

Natalie also commented on what being on GoT has taught her regarding the unpredictability of roles when approaching her part in Mockingjay. Knowing that anyone can go at any moment, she says, “That's an occupational hazard that I'm used to with Game of Thrones.”

We’re looking forward to seeing Natalie on the big screen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part One, due out November 21, 2014.
