That’s a wrap, everybody! Season 4 of Game of Thrones has officially finished filming, according to show insider, Cat Taylor.

That’s all folks. Wolf camera wrap on Series 4 of @GameOfThrones. Until next year!,” Cat, who’s a behind-the-scenes writer for the show, tweeted November 21.

Part of the last rounds of filming was another Royal Wedding, this one the long-awaited union between King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer). Cat says it was one of the largest scenes ever filmed for the show with 23 named parts in attendance as well as 218 extras. Why so many? Well, as Cat so deftly notes, a Westerosi wedding is not to be missed, particularly “The Purple Wedding”, as readers of the books may well remember.

Now that filming has finally wrapped, we hope to hear another big piece of GoT news soon: when Season 4 will officially premiere on HBO. We do know it’ll be sometime spring 2014 and, based upon previous seasons, we’re guessing it’ll be in April.

That’s not nearly as specific as we’d like, but at least with filming done, we’re one step closer to our Season 4 premiere/costume party. We call Daenerys. Always.
