There's hyping up a show, and then there's HBO. The premium channel has taken the anticipation for Game of Thrones Season 4 and run with it, big time, teasing out tiny scraps of info for hungry fans to pour over as we approach the next chapter of the epic fantasy show.

After finally announcing the premiere date (April 6) yesterday, HBO then promised viewers we'll get the first full length trailer for the season this Sunday, January 12. But that's not all, folks! Because today HBO kindly teased the trailer via Twitter, posting several small snippets as Vine videos. Man, social media can be fun. Or ridiculous, depending on how you feel about it.

Enough about the marketing strategy — let's look at the trailer teases and see what they tell us about the new season!

Jon Snow in Battle

This is a pretty epic few seconds of a Night's Watch vs. Wildlings conflict. Lookin' good, Jon.

More Action in the North

A nice little action shot.

Oberyn vs. The Mountain

Take a first look at this highly anticipated battle. Oberyn already seems about as epic as he needs to.

Dany Is Still the Best

All she's doing in this clip is standing there, but Dany still exudes awesome.

Tyrion in Chains

This clip we've already seen in the five seconds of footage from the HBO 2014 trailer: Tyrion is being marched down a hall in chains.

Remember to tune in to HBO this Sunday, January 12, at 8:58 p.m. ET to catch the trailer's premiere.
