On Game of Thrones, Richard Madden and Kit Harington portray brothers Robb Stark and Jon Snow, respectively, but it appears that now the two stars are competing against each other, rather than working together.

Variety is reporting that Fox’s reboot of the superhero franchise Fantastic Four should be finalizing its cast in the coming weeks, and Madden and Harington are both up for the role of the team’s leader, Mr. Fantastic, AKA Reed Richards. Also in contention for the role is actor Miles Teller (21 & Over).

Fantastic Four is based on the comic book of the same name, and tells the story of four scientists who are bombarded with cosmic rays while in space, and as a result find that they have been endowed with various powers, so they decide to become a team of superheroes. Fox has already made two films about the team, 2005’s Fantastic Four, and its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, both of which starred British actor Ioan Gruffudd in the role of Mr. Fantastic.

The new iteration of Fantastic Four is expected to hit theaters on June 19, 2015, and is being directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) off a script by Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past).
