Is the excitement to see the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere just too much to handle? Is there no way that you’ll possibly make it to April 6 without spontaneously combusting with anticipation? Well, then pack your bags for New Mexico, because a select few in the home state of A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin will get an advanced screening of the premiere — more than a week before the rest of the country!

On his blog, Martin details a special arrangement he’s made with HBO, where on March 29, three advance screenings of the Season 4 premiere will be held at the Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe. There will be a screening in the morning in Spanish, catering to Santa Fe’s large Hispanic community, a screening in the afternoon in English, and a red carpet-toting, invitation-only evening premiere.

There are two ways to get tickets for the morning and afternoon screenings. You can show up the day of the screening (or, more realistically, a couple days before) and they will be given away first come, first serve. Or, you can attend one of the Game of Thrones marathons held at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, where you will receive a raffle ticket that might win you a seat for the premiere. Either way, we hear New Mexico is lovely this time of year!
