The titles of the first four episodes of Game of Thrones Season 4 have been revealed, and they do a pretty good job of suggesting what happens in the episodes based on what we know from A Song of Ice and Fire. Read on to discover our predictions for what’s in store for each episode.

Warning: The following article contains spoilers from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Click away now if you don’t want to know!

Episode 1: Two Swords. Our guess is this title is a reference to the two swords of Valyrian steel that Tywin Lannister has made for Jaime and Joffrey. In the books, Jaime, who just recently lost his sword hand, is less than thrilled with the gift, while Joffrey accepts his as his favorite wedding gift, and uses it to slash through Tyrion’s gift to him: a rare book on the past kings of Westeros. In the books, the swords are made from Ned Stark’s old sword, Ice, which had been melted down, but since Ice hasn’t really been present on the show, this detail may be omitted. Chances are, this episode will have a lot of setup.

Episode 2: The Lion and the Rose. Get out your Sunday best for this episode because it sounds like we’re in for a royal wedding! The Tyrell’s sigel is a rose, while the Lannister’s is of course a lion, and this episode’s title hints at the joining of the two families at the wedding of Margaery and Joffrey. Though Joffrey is officially a Baratheon (wink, wink), in actuality he’s got nothing but Lannister blood flowing through his veins, so we’re cool with the title. This episode was written by George R.R. Martin himself, which makes us even more confident it's the big wedding.

Episode 3: Breaker of Chains. With all this Lannister stuff going on, we have to wonder what’s going on with Dany. Well, judging by the title of this episode, it sounds like Episode 3 will be very Dany-centric. “Breaker of Chains” is one of the new moniker’s Dany has picked up during her tour of Slaver’s Bay, and we expect her to take yet another slave city in this episode, that of Mereen. However, this time she’s going to stick around... to rule as its queen.

Episode 4: Oathkeeper. Remember that sword Tywin gave Jaime in episode one? We know you haven’t seen it yet, but bear with us. Jaime is going to give said sword to Brienne, and he’s going to send her on a mission to find Sansa Stark, who goes missing after the royal wedding. Jaime’s motivations aren’t nefarious though" he wants Brienne to keep the oath she swore to the late Cat Stark, to see that her children are safe. Hence the probable reason for the name of the episode: Oathkeeper is what Jaime dubs the sword when he bestows it upon Brienne, right before the two part ways. Get your tissues ready for this one.
