It's hard to imagine something worse than having your penis chopped off for the amusement of a  sadistic lunatic, but it sounds like Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) is in for a whole new kind of pain on Game of Thrones Season 4.

TVLine spoke to Alfie Allen, who explained that while Theon — or "Reek," as Ramsay Snow has renamed him — won't be under the same kind of physically duress he suffered in Season 3, there's a psychological element to his pain this season that could be just as bad.

"It’s a lot of mental stuff, rather than physical," Alfie explained. "Whether that’s better or worse, I guess you’ll just have to leave it up to the person who is watching it."

While watching Theon flayed for literally an entire season wasn't exactly fun TV viewing, we have a feeling that mental suffering could be just as hard to swallow, especially if it comes in the form of Ramsay and his ruthless mind games. After all, one of the most devastating Theon-related moments last season was when Ramsay, who had been masquerading as a friend, revealed that he was actually the mastermind behind Theon's suffering.

Buckle up, guys. It sounds like this season is going to be another rough one to watch.
