One of the things that Game of Thrones does so well is pair up characters who are polar opposites and just let the sparks fly. Jaime and Brienne, Jon and Ygritte, and the greatest pairing of them all, Arya and the Hound. While the first two pairs seem to have come to the end of their respective journeys in Season 3, Arya Stark and The Hound are still going strong in Season 4 according to Rory McCann, who portrays the Hound.

“We see [the Hound] and Arya on their mad road trip,” Rory tells the Daily Record. “Leaving a trail of destruction in their wake and arguing all the way so somehow it’s funny as well.” Arya and the Hound on a trail of destruction? Sounds like Season 4 really will be the best yet!

“We seem to be doing double the swordplay and I’ve still got bruises from the fights,” Rory reveals. “There are some moves that have never been seen before.” We’ve briefly glimpsed Arya and the Hound getting into a skirmish in the trailers, but it sounds like the two are in for an action-packed, no holds barred season.

Arya and the Hound begin their rampage when season 4 of Game of Thrones premieres on April 6 on HBO.
