You may have forgotten, but Joffrey has a younger brother. Though he never said a word, Tommen Baratheon was seated next to Tyrion at the wedding. Tommen didn’t appear at all in Season 3, and was last seen speaking in Season 2, Episode 6: “Blackwater”, albeit portrayed by a different actor. To jog your memory, he was sitting on Cersei’s lap on the iron throne where she was about to poison him out of fear of what Stannis might do to him.
Tommen is much younger than Joffrey, and much more innocent and child-like. He will not be a cruel king like his brother, but due to his youth he will largely serve as a puppet for his council. Since every king needs a queen, Tommen will get one soon enough, in the form of — you guessed it — Margaery Tyrell.
Margaery still wants to be queen, and due to the Tyrell/Lannister alliance that was cut short due to Joffrey’s poisoning, she is arranged to marry Tommen. The Tommen of the books is only around 8 years old, so don’t expect him and Margaery to consummate their marriage anytime soon.
So there you have it: your new king and newish queen. All hail Tommen and Margaery!
