Mark your calendars, we’ve just learned the title for the Game of Thrones Season 4 finale (not that you weren’t going to watch it before).

According to HBO’s schedule, the episode is titled “The Children.” Awesome, so... what does that mean? Perhaps an episode focusing mainly on GoT’s next generation? The Stark kids: Arya, Sansa, Bran, and Rickon, plus new king Tommen Baratheon, could all be considered children, so maybe they’ll be the center of the episode.

Or the episode could be alluding to Dany’s storyline. Daenerys is the Mother of Dragons, making the beasts her children. She is also called “Mhysa” by all of the former slaves she has freed, meaning they consider themselves to be her offspring (which is...weird). Hopefully Dany’s first born don’t get jealous of her new kids, that could be very, very bad.

The show might even focus on some grown-up children, like the Lannister siblings, who are still very much under the thumb of their domineering father, Tywin. Might this be an episode featuring a joyful Lannister family dinner? Somehow we don’t think that’s it.

On the mystical side, we have the new development of baby White Walkers that we saw in Season 4, Episode 4. Could they be the mysterious children? They would definitely be the creepiest. Or maybe even the mythological Children of the Forest that have been mentioned in earlier episodes of the series. We know that White Walkers and giants exist beyond the wall, so why not magical kids? Anything is possible.

What do you think the episode will be about? Let us know in the comments!
